We offer different programs for all ages and abilities.

Exclusively adaptive classes are listed below.

Many adaptive students are also eligible to participate in blended classes, along side typically developing peers. 

Athletes with a developmental disability or any other adaptive needs must book an assessment with a program director to be placed in a blended class.

ADAPTIVE PRIVATES

Adaptive Privates are offered for students that may need additional individualized attention due to functional or behavioral needs. Staff are trained to modify exercises accordingly to meet the individual's adaptive, cognitive, and physical needs.

A parent, caretaker, or support staff may be required to accompany a student while participating in their adaptive private session.

The level of support required is up to the digression of each TAA Instructor, and may change at any time.

$30 annual registration fee

30 - Minute Sessions 1xWeek: $260 monthly

60 - Minute Sessions 1xWeek: $320 monthly

ADAPTIVE GROUP FITNESS

Adaptive Group Fitness classes teach physical activity principles according to abilities across physical, cognitive and adaptive levels of functioning. Groups of up to 8-10 athletes will work with 1 instructor.

Individualized modifications and progressions are made instantly to cater to anyone in the class. Exercises and activities facilitate functional independence directed toward social, personal, and physical habilitation or rehabilitation. 

Classes are 60 minutes in duration.

ADAPTIVE BASKETBALL

Adaptive Basketball for Teens & Adults with adaptive needs.

Athletes work on fundamental basketball skills - dribbling with one hand, alternating-hand dribbling, shooting, passing, defense, rebounding, foot movement, small scrimmages, strategy, teamwork, and sportsmanship.

VARSITY CLASSES - Invite only for students who have completed JV Classes and tested into Varsity

JV CLASSES - Introductory classes, great for any starting point

ADAPTIVE VOLLEYBALL

Adaptive Volleyball for Teens & Adults with adaptive needs.

Classes teach the fundamentals of volleyball skills, game strategies, conditioning, and incorporates short-sided games.

Athletes will practice serving, passing, setting, blocking, and rotating through various positions.

*Adaptive Volleyball placement requires an initial assessment to ensure all athletes are place appropriately

ADAPTIVE GYMNASTICS

Adaptive Group Gymnastics is designed to teach the fundamentals for gymnastics, while also accommodating adaptive needs.

This group class is exclusively for children ages 3 - 9, with a developmental disorder or other adaptive needs, that are able to physically participate in gymnastics. An adult is required to accompany each athlete enrolled. Adult support is to facilitate their athlete's acclimation to the class and to provide functional/behavioral support throughout the class.

The instructor will present activities and stations throughout the duration of the class.

Semi-structured nature of the class provides opportunities for social skills with peers, turn-taking, autonomy, and sensory breaks throughout the entirety of the class.
