FUNCTIONAL GROUP FITNESS

Group fitness classes teach physical activity principles according to abilities across physical, cognitive and adaptive levels of functioning. Small groups include up to 4 athletes, and groups include up to 6 athletes, typically with one instructor. Individualized modifications and progressions are made instantly to cater to anyone in the class. Exercises and activities facilitate functional independence directed toward social, personal, and physical habilitation or rehabilitation.
